The Indian Airport Trick

I sympathise with the author. Two days back, I had to go through the same airport and thanks to the sensationally inadequate security check facilities, almost missed a flight for which I had checked in two hours ago - that's right, that's how long it takes for the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) men to check cabin baggage.

  1. How is the Howrah station? I want to go there one day just to click pictures.

  2. Howrah Station is very visual, you'd like it. Long back, I used to catch a train there, reach early morning, take the ferry to cross the river, and then queue at Eden Gardens for the test match. As usual, our railway stations pack more punch than our drab airports.
